Acknowledgments
The purpose of an acknowledgment is to verify that the individual signing a document is indeed who they say they are and that they have signed the document voluntarily. Acknowledgments are commonly required for documents involving valuable assets, like deeds, mortgages, and powers of attorney.
To complete an acknowledgment, the signer must appear in person before a notary during the notarization process. The notary will confirm the signer's identity and ensure they declare — or "acknowledge" — that the signature on the document is theirs and that it was made willingly.

Jurat
A jurat is intended to require a signer to swear or affirm that the information in a document is accurate. In some jurisdictions, it may also be referred to as an affidavit or a verification on oath or affirmation.
To complete a jurat, the signer must appear in person before a notary and sign the document in their presence. The notary will then administer an oath or affirmation, during which the signer must verbally assert that the statements in the document are true. The signer has the option to choose between taking an oath or making an affirmation.

Apostille
An Apostille is a certification that verifies the authenticity of official documents, guaranteeing their legal acceptance in foreign countries that are parties to the Hague Convention. It is necessary for important documents like birth certificates, marriage licenses, academic transcripts, and legal agreements intended for international use. An Apostille is crucial for activities such as studying abroad, international marriages, business transactions, and legal matters in other countries.

Loan Signing
A Notary Signing Agent is a specialized notary public trained in handling loan signings and real estate transactions. They assist with mortgage closings, refinancing, and related paperwork by guiding borrowers through the signing process at their convenience, such as at home or work.
Their duties include verifying signers' identities, witnessing and notarizing documents, and ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards. By serving as a neutral third party, Notary Signing Agents help ensure the accuracy and legality of loan documents, benefiting lenders, title companies, and borrowers by facilitating a smooth and efficient closing process.
